Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect personal information. Effective 1 September 2026.

1. Information we collect

Details you give us directly: name, work email, phone number, company name, company size and anything you write in a form or email.

Information created when you use the product: account activity, records of buyer conversations processed on your behalf, and configuration settings.

Technical information collected automatically: device type, browser, approximate region, referring page and pages viewed.

2. How we use it

To respond to enquiries, run demos and set up accounts.

To operate, secure and improve the platform, including troubleshooting and measuring reliability.

To send service notices, and - only where you have agreed - occasional product and event updates you can stop at any time.

4. When we share information

We do not sell personal information.

We share it with vetted service providers who host our infrastructure, deliver messages, or support our team - each bound by contract to protect it.

We may disclose information when required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case we will tell you.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months after last contact. Customer data is kept for the life of the agreement and deleted or returned within 90 days of termination, unless a longer period is legally required.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to staff who need it, and we review our controls regularly. No system is perfectly secure, so we also maintain an incident response process and will notify affected customers promptly.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask for a copy of your information, request corrections or deletion, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Write to info@bowvalleytechnologies.ca and we will respond within 30 days.

8. International transfers

We are based in Alberta, Canada and may process information in other countries. Where we do, we use recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

9. Terms of use

The website and its content are provided for general information. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, or reproduce our material without permission. Product use is governed by the written agreement signed with your organisation, which takes precedence over this page.

10. Changes and contact

We will post any update here with a new effective date. Questions about this policy can go to info@bowvalleytechnologies.ca or Bow Valley Technologies, Canmore, Alberta, Canada.
